About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Planet Fitness - NJ/MA One World Fitness as a Weekday Opener! This exciting role is perfect for early risers who are passionate about fitness and customer service, helping create a welcoming environment for our members from 5am to 11am.
- Open the gym, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all members.
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
- Assist members with check-in and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor gym activities, ensuring adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.
- Handle member inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages member engagement.
- Support team members in daily operations and special events.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or fitness environment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends.
- Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and gym operations.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
- Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.
