Location:
Parsippany, NJ (Remote with U.S. travel)

Onsite Flexibility:
Remote with 50% travel (2 weeks/month, occasional off-hours and some weekends)

Contract Details:

• Position Type: Contract

• Contract Duration: 12 months

• Start: As Soon As Possible

• Pay Rate: $50–$60/hr

• Schedule:

  • Standard: 40 hrs/week, 8-hour days, Monday–Friday

  • Travel weeks: ~50 hrs/week

Job Summary:
The Operations Software Analyst supports and enhances AVEVA MES applications across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites. This role combines remote application support , SQL development , and hands-on travel-based deployment assistance , ensuring successful MES operations, integrations, and user adoption. The analyst plays a critical role in troubleshooting issues, implementing new functionality, and guiding end users through effective system utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain AVEVA MES systems across multiple manufacturing locations.

• Participate in MES enhancement projects, including configuration, testing, and deployment .

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, views, and reports .

• Investigate MES-related issues and coordinate solutions with technical and cross-functional teams.

• Provide end-user training , documentation, and adoption support.

• Assist in MES integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP and WMS platforms.

• Travel up to 50% to support site deployments, stakeholder engagement, and training.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 2 years working with MES systems .

• Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, views, data analysis).

• Experience working with end users, technical teams, and leadership counterparts.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to U.S. manufacturing facilities.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Experience with AVEVA System Platform or AVEVA MES .

• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, process data, or performance metrics.

• Experience integrating MES with ERP/WMS or other enterprise platforms.

Required Skills:

• MES system support experience

• SQL development & troubleshooting

• Strong communication & user-facing support skills

Preferred Skills:

• AVEVA MES or AVEVA System Platform experience

• Experience supporting manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with system integrations (ERP/WMS)
