Doyle, Jr. Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) with Travel to our Manassas campus for training and development.

The Work
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading design professionals and contribute to groundbreaking projects. Be a part of the SQQ-89 program Field Engineering Team. Work with our team to develop tools for our Navy customer as we deliver the latest capabilities for the fleets tactical systems. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
As a key member of our Field Engineering team, you will
Perform under general supervision to complete milestones associated with specific projects
Conduct Software initial installs of new SQQ-89 Software, and support integration through SOD
Ensuring system issues are documented and tracked the problem report system and provide SW maintenance as required
Manage the incoming SQQ-89 Hardware system, inspect and track defective hardware through the LRU Maintenance and replacement process
Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team during SQQ-89 and Aegis Test events.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field and 3 years of relevant work experience OR 5+years of directly related hands-on System Integration experience on complex systems.
Proficient with Linux operating system.
Experience creating or revising technical system documentation.
Must be able to utilize Microsoft Windows and Office products in support of day to day tasking.
Qualified candidate must be eligible for a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience integrating and software installs.
Experience with SQQ-89 or Aegis programs and systems.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure
accurate and reliable test results.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
