Production Manager
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resource allocation.
- Train, mentor, and lead production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for necessary materials.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance to senior management.
- Proven experience in a production management role, preferably within the cannabis industry overseeing teams of 25+
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions - specifically Excel and PowerBI.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass any required background checks.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with cannabis regulations and compliance standards.
- Previous experience in a startup or rapidly growing environment.
- Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to building a positive community.
