Senior Accountant
The Senior Property Accountant will, under minimal supervision, perform accounting functions and duties for a portfolio of owned, managed, or joint-ventured residential properties. The Senior Property Accountant will actively participate in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and management reports for each property. The Senior Property Accountant will establish and maintain a working relationship with the properties and upper management. This is an on-site position performed from the Corporate office in Jersey City, NJ. Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business administration. The position does require ability to read and write English fluently, and the ability to perform basic intermediate to advanced mathematical functions. Experience: A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a real estate management environment along with senior accounting experience. Skills: The position requires excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to positively communicate with all levels of the organization and with parties outside the company.
