You will lead forensic investigations for community association transitions and construction claims, providing expert testimony in depositions and trials. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead forensic investigations to assess structural conditions and identify deficiencies
- Serve as an expert witness in depositions, mediations, and courtroom proceedings
- Create detailed field reports and comprehensive expert testimony documentation
- Review architectural/engineering drawings, specifications, and project manuals
- Oversee material testing and structural analysis to support your expert findings
- Collaborate with legal teams to develop effective case strategies
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the firm's technical knowledge base
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting
- Previous expert witness experience is essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- OSHA 10 Certification (preferred)
- Valid US Driver's License
- Excellent project management abilities
- Detail-oriented with superior analytical skills
