Quality Assurance / QC Technician

• Location: Pine Brook, NJ
• Pay: $25.00 per hour
• Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
• Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Control Technician for a premier manufacturer in the personal care and cosmetics industry. This is a fantastic Temp-to-Hire opportunity for a reliable professional looking to grow their career in production quality compliance. You will support daily quality operations by inspecting materials, maintaining logs, and ensuring products meet strict standards.

• Inspections & Testing: Perform routine sampling and testing on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
• Production Line Checks: Conduct line inspections and monitor manufacturing processes to catch and prevent defects early.
• Inventory Control: Apply status labels and tags to ensure only fully approved materials move to the production floor.
• Documentation: Accurately complete QA forms, batch records, and data logs to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Equipment Care: Perform routine calibrations on laboratory testing instruments (pH meters, scales, etc.).
• Audit & Complaint Support: Pull batch records and track data to assist with internal audits and customer complaint investigations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of QC/QA experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing.
• Skills: Proficient with MS Excel/Word for data entry and comfortable using basic lab equipment.
• Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is a plus.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and excellent communication skills.
