Academic Hospitalist- Work with Internal Medicine Residents!
Prime Healthcare is currently recruiting for BE/BC Internal Medicine physicians to join their established hospitalist teams in Kansas City. Multiple Prime Healthcare locations have opportunities in the Kansas City Metro for an Academic Hospitalist.
The Academic Hospitalist Position Highlights:
- Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a hospitalist in academic setting
- Must be board-certified in internal medicine
- Faculty appointment based on experience
- Position involves rotations with medical residents for inpatient, outpatient and skilled nursing care
- Participate in teaching lectures and didactics as part of the core curriculum for the IM residency program
- Provide mentorship to medical students and residents
- Participate in program evaluation and resident evaluation
