Distribution Sales Assistant - Technical Products

We are seeking a motivated and technically-minded Distribution Sales Assistant to support our growing sales and distribution efforts. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a basic understanding of technical products. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our sales team, managing distribution logistics, and providing knowledgeable assistance to customers and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Sales and Distribution teams with order processing and technical product configuration assistance.
• Communicate with customers, integrators, and resellers to provide product information.
• Enter and manage data in CRM and ERP systems (ACT).
• Follow up on sales leads generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns, and technical inquiries.
• Assist with the preparation of technical quotes, order confirmations, and product documentation.
• Work closely with engineering or technical support to ensure accurate customer information.
• Make outbound calls to support business development and build relationships with distribution partners.
• Collaborate with marketing on product promotions and distributor communications.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
• Basic technical knowledge or experience with mechanical, electronic, or industrial products.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems for managing customer data.
• Comfortable making outbound calls to customers and resellers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications.
• Able to work collaboratively with technical teams and non-technical customers.
• Critical thinker with the ability to troubleshoot basic product-related questions.

Education & Experience:

• Associate’s Degree required; technical certification or coursework preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in a sales support, technical sales, or distribution role.
• Experience with packaging machinery or technical equipment is a plus.
• On-the-job training provided.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $60,000 annually.
