We’re ideally looking for someone who has a strong grasp on data analysis, purchasing forecasts and an understanding of the global market. This would be a great opportunity for someone to step into a strategic role for the first time and apply their knowledge, building good practice and ways of working from scratch. You will truly be able to make a difference in this role and will have true autonomy.

As a Purchasing Manager, you’ll:

• Develop and implement a purchasing strategy aligned with the company's objectives.


• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing and payment terms to foster long-term partnerships.


• Analyze market trends and forecasts to anticipate supply chain challenges and opportunities.


• Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring timely and efficient sourcing of materials.


• Manage supplier performance and compliance, conducting regular assessments and audits.


• Collaborate with product development and commercial teams to ensure alignment of sourcing with product timelines and quality requirements.


• Monitor and manage purchasing budgets, providing insights on cost-saving opportunities.


• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing purchasing team.


• Work closely with R&D, marketing, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of purchasing strategies.


• Participate in cross-functional projects to drive efficiency and enhance product offerings.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

• Comprehensive knowledge of the beauty industry

• A strong people manager who can lead and develop a team of 3 people.

What’s in it for me?

• Salary of between $85,000 - $100,000 (Negotiable)


• Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days working from home
