Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Schedule: 4 shifts/week, 10-hour days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

• On-Call: Minimum 15 call shifts required during assignment

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Active Radiology Technician certification (ARRT preferred)
• New Jersey ARRT license highly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Interventional Neuro required
• Ability to fulfill on-call responsibilities as needed
• Capable of working independently as first assist to physicians
• Compliance with all onboarding health and background requirements (including vaccinations and screenings)

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, and neuro-interventional procedures
• Manage vascular access sites and symptoms, including sheath removal
• Provide emergency and after-hours call coverage as scheduled
• Schedule inpatients and outpatients for all cardiac and radiology procedures
• Assist in admitting, recovering, and discharging patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team, serving as first assist in the lab
