Hiring Manual Machinist/Welder in Lakewood, NJ!

We are seeking a skilled in-house Machinist and Welder to join our team on the 1st shift. This full-time position merges the roles of a manual machinist and welder to fabricate parts for internal machinery and perform basic welding tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience in a job shop setting.

WEEKLY PAY!

Pay and Shift:

Shift: 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Range: $30-$40 an hour based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machining equipment, including Rockport milling machines and lathes.
• Run various machines such as brake press, drill press, and band saws.
• Read and work from basic prints.
• Work on materials like stainless steel, aluminum, and heavy plastics.
• Perform precision welding, mainly TIG with some MIG, on steel and stainless steel.
• Handle thin-walled steel pipes designed for low-pressure applications.

Essential Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on manual machining experience (lathes/mills).
• 2+ years of experience in fabrication and welding, with a preference for TIG welding.
• Proficiency in operating lathe and manual machining equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakewood, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
