About This Role
TBA Preschool in Aberdeen NJ is looking for an assistant teacher for our three year old class. Class meets Mon-Wed-Fri 9:30 to 1:30. This is the perfect job for a working parent as our school day fits into public school hours. Candidates should love being with children, be warm and nurturing, have high energy levels, and possess a friendly demeanor. School is in session September to June.
What You'll DoDuties include but are not limited to the following:
- supervise children
- brainstorm with teacher to help create stimulating environment and activities for children
- change diapers and assist in bathroom
- help keep classroom clean and organized
- prepare projects and activities
- prepare and clean up from snack
- support learning
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- able to maneuver around small children and busy classroom
- able to lift 30 pounds
- meet state guidelines for the role
Experience working with or supervising children is a plus.
