• Role: Oracle Consultant – Cloud Migration (AWS to OCI)
  
• Client: Oracle ACS (Direct Client)
  
• Duration: 18 months (subject to detailed discovery phase)

• Engagement Type: Contract
  

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Oracle Cloud Migration Consultants to support large-scale AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration initiatives. The role involves database, middleware, analytics, and cloud-native service migrations while ensuring performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Database & Data Platform Migration

• Lead and execute database migrations from AWS to OCI, including:
  
• Oracle DB → Oracle DB (DBCS, ExaCS, ATP)
  
• MySQL → MySQL HeatWave
  
• PostgreSQL → OCI Managed PostgreSQL
  
• SQL Server → ATP or MySQL (based on complexity)
  
• MongoDB / Mongo Atlas → Autonomous JSON DB / 23ai JSON API
  
• Yugabyte → Oracle Globally Distributed Database (GDD)
  
• Neptune / MariaDB → Oracle DB
  
• Migrate analytics platforms:
  
• Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery → Oracle AI Data Platform (IDL) & ADW
  

Cloud & Application Migration

• Migrate virtual machines from AWS to OCI
  
• Refactor and migrate AWS Lambda to OCI Functions
  
• Migrate AWS SQS implementations to OCI Streaming/Queue services
  
• Migrate AWS Step Functions to OCI-native orchestration services
  
• Modernize and refactor middleware workloads on OCI
  

Middleware, Integration & Analytics Migration

• BI & Analytics tools migration:
  
• Tableau, Cognos, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Looker → Oracle Analytics Cloud
  
• Integration & Data Movement:
  
• MuleSoft, Informatica → Oracle Integration Cloud
  
• Other data movement tools → Oracle GoldenGate Cloud Service
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Expertise in database migration, modernization, and performance tuning
  
• Experience with cloud-native services, serverless, and messaging platforms
  
• Strong understanding of data integration, analytics, and middleware platforms
  
• Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing environment
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
