Garden State Tile is currently seeking an experienced and exceptional Assembly Associate to join our TEAM! As an Tile Sample Assembly Associate in our Sample Production Department Warehouse, you are preparing and assembling products or components according to provided instructions, specifications, and quality standards to produce merchandising items for our sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and providing the highest level of concierge customer service in a timely safe, accurate, and efficient manner. Additional duties specific to a position in our Sample Production Department include the operation of hand tools, power tools, wet tile saw, table saw (wood) and forklift.

This position offers a competitive base hourly wage range of $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.

Garden State Tile’s facility is equipped with state of the art wireless warehouse technology uses Epicor Prophet 21 technology and is conveniently located on Route 34 in Wall Township, New Jersey. The sample department and sample production facility in location within our Wall New Jersey Design Center and provides quality ceramic, porcelain, glass and stone products to fill the sample and merchandising needs of dealers, architects, designers, residential customers and Team GST in all areas serviced.

Current scheduling for this position is 5 days a week, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, 8 hours worked per day with a one-hour unpaid lunch.

• Receipt of incoming materials and retrieving materials from inventory for production assembly.
• Preparation of materials for assembly and assembling finished merchandising items.
• Labeling of merchandising items and sample tiles.
• Packaging finished merchandising items and inventorying for distribution.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient assembly operations.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
