Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. Candidate must have strong expertise in SAP SD consignment and end‑to‑end sales distribution processes, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Configuring SAP SD processes including consignment, order management, delivery, billing, pricing, and logistics execution.

• Leading SAP S/4HANA SD implementation and enhancement activities across business and technical teams.

• Designing functional specifications, validating enhancements, and supporting UAT with business users.

• Managing IDoc processing, interfaces, and EDI integrations to ensure seamless data exchange with external systems.

• Troubleshooting pricing routines, copy controls, output determination, and resolving SD‑related issues.

• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate SD with MM, FI, and WM modules while ensuring smooth end‑to‑end flows.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.

• Candidate must have 6–8 years of hands‑on experience as an SAP S/4HANA SD consultant.

• Strong expertise in SAP SD consignment processes, pricing, order management, delivery, and billing configuration.

• Candidate must have proven capability in managing IDoc processing, EDI integrations, enhancement validations, and cross‑module integration with MM, FI, and WM.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
