Job Summary:
The Provider Experience Specialist is a member of the Corporate Services Human Resources Department, and has direct and client facing responsibility for partnering with the Physician Services team in ensuring timely processing of employee contracts for physicians and other clinical employees -collectively, providers.
The Provider Experience Specialist is involved in the providers full employment life cycle and will be responsible to collaborate with Physician Recruiting on pipeline and timelines - pre-acceptance - and with ensuring signed contracts are received for processing - post-acceptance- , with the HR and Service Center Onboarding teams to ensure timely hire and clearances, and with HCM/People Technology and payroll teams.
The Provider Experience Specialist will have primary responsibility for the creation of each provider record in the HRIS system, collaborating with payroll to ensure proper pay codes and is accountable for calculating any retroactive payments owed and ensuring timely payments of same.
The position requires a high level of professionalism, ability to operate independently and with minimal intervention, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent time management skills.

Required:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience required
- Ability to work in a hybrid work status - remote/onsite
- Previous experience with HRIS systems - PeopleSoft preferred - and direct client support experience required
Essential Functions:
- Provides daily administrative, operational and data entry management of new providers to the RWJBH enterprise
- Serves as HR liaison for the resolution of complex contract interpretation for the purposes of creating an employee record
- Interfaces with stakeholders and SMEs related to contract interpretation
- Assists with the execution of the provider contract after handoff from Physician Recruitment
- Partners with Physician Services on pipeline, understanding and tracking of provider vacancies and proposed start dates,
- Ensures the timely submission of contracts and following up as needed to ensure effective and efficient handoff to the HR and Service Center Onboarding Teams
- Collaborates and follows up with clinical leaders, senior management, and internal departments regarding the contracting and onboarding of providers
- Ensures downstream departments impacted have been notified, and documents are loaded into appropriate systems and/or shared drives accurately and completely
- Creates new provider employee records inclusive of compensation, personal data, payroll deductions, time off plans, etc.
- Updating current provider records with contract amendments,
- Analyzes contract details as it relates to compensation - inclusive of different rates for different facilities, differentials, etc.and calculating monies owed to provider
- Submit request for payment and ensures processing
- Data management duties including entering and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of provider information in PeopleSoft/related systems
- Completes outreach to providers to clarify data submitted, as needed
