An international plant-based manufacturing company is seeking 2nd shift Maintenance Technician. This position requires at least 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance or preventative maintenance experience on machinery.

• $21-23/hr. plus full benefits and bonus
• 2nd shift

Monday and Wednesday – Saturday 02:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

• Somerset, NJ

Requirements of the 2nd shift Maintenance Technician:

• At least 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance or preventative maintenance experience on machinery
• HS Degree or equivalent required
• Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move, and handle equipment
• Able to communicate, read, and understand in English
• Electrical or HVAC Training is preferred from trade or vocational School

Responsibilities of the 2nd shift Maintenance Technician:

• Follow all safety rules and support maintenance activities
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machinery running smoothly
• Review work orders and handle interdepartmental requests
• Enhance equipment performance and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Operate various hand and power tools
• Join training to build skills and stay current
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Perform additional duties as needed

Schedule: 2nd shift
