Assistant Innkeeper

We are a 13 room Bed and Breakfast located near the center of town. We are looking for an Assistant Innkeeper with great interpersonal skills and an attention to detail. Must be friendly, interact well with guests and comfortable with phone & online reservation system. Will provide training but experience with baking & food prep as well as hotel management skills preferred. Morning and Afternoon full and part time positions available.

Responsibilities

• Guest services, deliver excellent customer service
• Guest Check/in & Check/out
• Manage incoming reservation calls and on-line systems
• Food preparation and baking
• Serving breakfast and afternoon tea service
• Guest and phone Q&A
• Laundry support
• Report on any shortages, damages, or security issues
• Handle reasonable guest complaints/requests and inform others when required
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies
• the ideal candidate is comfortable in a kitchen environment, breakfast preparation is a preference but a willingness to learn is required
• On the job training is available

• Proven working experience in relevant field
• Computer skills with our reservation and email system
• Ability to work independently and remain motivated
• Helpful with customer service orientation
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Professionalism and attention to detail
• Knowledge of English language

Salary: $17.00 but negotiable based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
