Your Impactful Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions either collaboratively with physicians or autonomously, depending on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and managing health concerns
• Prescribing medication and therapy as permitted by your scope of practice
• Engaging in chronic disease management and follow-up care for patients
• Working closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and cohesive care
• Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Jersey
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC), or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to complete within 90 days)
