Loader and Unloader

Overview: The Loader and Unloader is responsible for manually or by hand truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility. Responsibilities:

• Set up dock door for spotter to bring trailer in
• Pattern load in system
• Secure trailer once in dock door (stand, dock plate, dock lock, etc.)
• Unhook trailer once loading is complete
• Inflate air bags as needed
• Locate and install bulkheads for loads as needed
• Performs other related task to keep work area safe, clean and organized
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of weight.
• Must be able to reach, push, pull, bend, walk and stand.
• Must be able to operate a golf cart to transport materials and travel through facility
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $17.26 - $23.01/hour. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
