Manufacturing Engineer - CNC / Lean / Process Improvement

This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced manufacturing technologies , improve production efficiency, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions to demanding customers.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and work instructions
• Support CNC machining operations, fixture design, and prototype manufacturing
• Analyze workflows and implement Lean manufacturing and process improvements
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
• Utilize precision inspection tools to verify product quality and compliance
• Perform root cause analysis and problem solving to improve reliability and throughput
• Track and analyze production metrics and KPIs
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership teams to improve manufacturing performance
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with CNC machining or precision manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Experience
• CNC programming or process development experience
• Experience with Mastercam, HAAS, DMG Mori or similar equipment
• Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)
• ISO 9001 or quality system experience
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects
