Coffee Service Route Sales Specialist
Wake up, roll out, and serve great coffee all day
Picture this: It’s 7:00 am and you’re loading your truck for a smooth run across your assigned stops. You’re the face of our coffee and tea program—keeping beverage stations stocked and spotless, equipment humming, and customers smiling. When teammates are out, you step in to provide route relief and make sure service never skips a beat. By 4:00 pm, you’ve delivered, serviced, sold, and set every station to standard—and you’re proud of it.
Schedule
Typical Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm; overtime as needed.
Driving & Compliance
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Able to successfully complete a DOT physical.
What you’ll do
- Deliver, restock, rotate, and merchandise coffee, tea, and related items at each scheduled stop when running a route.
- Keep beverage stations clean and functioning; complete at least one CQC (Cup Quality Check) each day.
- Escalate customer concerns to the ASM (Area Sales Manager) quickly and follow through to ensure satisfaction.
- Service every customer on the daily schedule—on time and to standard.
- Handle route paperwork and money matters: manage invoices, track inventory, and perform collections each day you’re on a route.
- Grow Revenue per Stop by closing distribution gaps on core products, executing seasonal and LTO promotions, applying pricing actions, and ensuring stations meet brand standards.
- Flag inefficiencies, dissatisfaction, or new opportunities to the ASM while providing route relief.
- Assist the ASM with inventory cycle counts, warehouse tasks, and customer-related needs as assigned.
- Learn brewing equipment basics and complete minor adjustments or repairs.
- Consistently follow the Farmer Brothers customer call process ("The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell") to drive loyalty; make additional sales calls when time allows.
- Pitch in as needed, including warehouse operations, accounts receivable collections, and customer service activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Route delivery experience is a plus.
- Customer service background preferred; foodservice experience is a bonus.
- Clean, strong driving record.

Compensation & benefits
We’re committed to pay transparency and competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role is defined above and may vary based on experience and qualifications.
We apply location-based pay adjustments. Team members in higher-cost markets may receive a geographic pay premium, informed by market data and local economic factors.
