Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in the care of adult patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries including CABG and valve procedures. Candidates will have opportunities to float to the Main OR as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform both scrub and circulate duties in the cardiovascular operating room.
• Administer care and support to patients undergoing open heart surgeries.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure efficient operation flow.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide assessments during surgical procedures.
• Utilize advanced cardiovascular equipment and technology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
• Experience with devices such as Impella, HeartMate, ECMO, and TAVR is essential.
