Marketing Communications Coordinator (Hybrid)

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Director, the Coordinator of Marketing Communications will support the development and execution of integrated marketing communications plans and strategies to support the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group in collaboration with RWJBH system service lines. The Coordinator provides integral support to the Director in external and internal communications, including the coordination of advertising initiatives, key messaging, collateral and direct mail, digital and social media programs and will work in collaboration with system counterparts to ensure brand continuity. Contact with all levels of senior leadership, management, physicians, trustees and community partners.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor s degree in communications or public relations, required
• 2+ years or equivalent experience in a corporate, health or hospital communications position with responsibilities for coordinating marketing communications and public relations activities for an organized physician practice model
• Travel to various physician practice locations throughout NJ as required
• Social Media content experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Computer skills required: Basic knowledge of most frequently used computer programs, sites, social media outlets and internet (Microsoft Word, Excel, Canva, Constant Contact, Survey Monkey, Press Ganey)

Scheduling Requirement:

• Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
• Hours may vary as business needs require
• Travel to various physician practice locations required
• Hybrid work schedule flexibility, 1-2 days per week

Essential Functions:

• Assists in developing and executing communications plans to support Strategic Marketing Communications strategic initiatives for RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group and service line initiatives.
• Writes content for brochures, flyers and educational material as well as content to promote practices and special events.
• Identifies media opportunities and writes/manages news releases, blogs, and feature stories for the Medical Group.
• Assists in developing written and video content for the website as wells as social media channels.
• Provides proofreading and editing assistance for marketing communications materials.
• Supports, promotes and manages special events and conferences in support of strategic marketing communications objectives.
• Assists with writing and executing internal and external communications, through e-communication platform, CERKL and Constant Contact.
• Fulfills other Marketing Communications assignments as assigned by the Director.
