Remote Medical Biller & Insurance Caller
**About the Role:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our remote team. This is a fully remote position requiring high-level English proficiency and previous experience with US-based medical billing. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of claims, with a heavy emphasis on calling insurance payers to resolve unpaid claims.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Insurance A/R Follow-up:** Proactively call US-based health insurance companies to check claim status and resolve denials.
* **Claims Management:** Create and submit medical claims and bills accurately and timely.
* **Payment Posting:** Post payments to patient accounts and reconcile EOBs.
* **Communication:** Maintain daily updates and open communication with the team via Slack/Email.
* **Ad-Hoc Projects:** Assist with administrative tasks based on business needs.
**Requirements:**
* **Experience:** Previous US Medical Billing experience is **required**.
* **Software:** Proficiency with **Tebra (formerly Kareo)** is essential.
* **Language:** Native or near-native English fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory for insurance calls.
* **Schedule:** Must be available to work during **USA Eastern Standard Time (EST/New York Time)** business hours.
