Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production output quality and efficiency.
• Manage the plant budget control costs and identify areas for financial improvement.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations quality standards and environmental compliance.
• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all plant machinery and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing principles to enhance operational effectiveness.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing plant operations management.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage P&L budgets and operational efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience implementing advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. IoT automation AI)
• Fluency in a second language relevant to the workforce or international business operations
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Advanced degree (e.g. MBA Master's in Engineering Management)
