Salary: $65,000-$75,000
We are an expanding, high energy, multi-discipline rehabilitation facility, with locations in Oakland, Wayne, Fair Lawn, Closter and Clifton NJ, looking for an outstanding person to join our team! Our purpose is to help as many people possible to regain their health and active life through state-of-the-art rehabilitation including Physical Therapy, Non-Surgical Herniated Disc Treatment, Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture and more!
We are looking for a full time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the team! Applicant must have excellent treatment skills as well as patient management skills. Applicant must be reliable, highly motivated, hard working, detail oriented, able to multi-task, coachable and willing to learn our office procedures and treatment protocols.
What Youll Do:
As a COTA, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering personalized care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing Tailored Treatment Plans: Work closely with our Occupational Therapist to bring individualized plans to life, ensuring each patient receives the best care possible.
- Conducting Engaging Therapy Sessions: Lead therapy sessions that enhance patients motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities, making every session a step toward independence.
- Monitoring Progress: Keep detailed records of patient progress, allowing for real-time adjustments to treatment plans and celebrating patient achievements.
- Collaborating with a Supportive Team: Partner with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to patient care.
- Educating and Empowering: Provide valuable insights and training to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, empowering them to continue their progress at home.
Who You Are:
Were looking for compassionate and skilled individuals who have:
- An Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology , and occupational health principles
- Experience with diverse patient populations , including geriatrics, pediatrics, and acute care settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to foster connections with patients and team members alike
- A team-oriented mindset, ready to collaborate for the best patient outcomes
