Junior Sous Chef
Restaurant 1793 is seeking a driven and hands-on Junior Sous Chef to support our kitchen leadership and help execute a focused, seasonal menu. This role is ideal for a cook ready to step into a leadership position and grow within a quality-driven kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Support the Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure consistency, quality, and proper execution of all dishes
- Assist with prep planning, station setup, and service flow
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Help maintain organization, inventory, and product handling
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of professional kitchen experience
- Prior leadership or lead line cook experience preferred
- Strong culinary fundamentals and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, reliability, and a team-first mindset
- Desire to grow into a long-term leadership role
