Mammography Technologist

Location: Northfield, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Northfield, NJ.

Schedule

• Tuesday through Friday

• No on-call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.

• Operate mammography equipment while following established safety and quality protocols.

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper technique.

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to deliver timely diagnostic imaging.

• Follow all state, federal, and facility regulations related to mammography services.

• Assist with bone density (DEXA) studies as needed.

• Perform general X-ray procedures if qualified and required.

• Assist with stereotactic and breast biopsy procedures when applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Mammography Technologist experience .

• Current ARRT certification in Mammography (RT(M)).

• Active state licensure as required.

• Experience assisting with breast biopsy procedures is strongly preferred.

• Ability and willingness to perform general X-ray procedures is highly preferred.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Patient Volume

• Approximately 13-22 mammography and DEXA patients per day .
