Princeton Day School is seeking Part-time Assistants for the Extended Day Program.
For this position, the ideal candidate is expected to:
- Ensure a safe and orderly environment for our after-school students.
- Assist the Director/Supervisor in the implementation of the after-school care programs including effective management of large groups, small groups and individual children both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist children with homework and manage child pick up. Including answering the after-school cell phone.
- Have experience and/or interest in working with children ages 4-11 and/or 10-14 years.
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Work independently, understand and carry out oral and written directions clearly and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
- Work the following days/hours from September through June :
- Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00pm (with some flexibility if there are early dismissal days or evening childcare needs, due to events)
Compensation Range : $18.00 an hour (this role is not eligible for benefits)
