Responsibilities
- Design and develop PLC-based control systems for industrial automation applications.
- Collaborate with project managers, software developers, and electrical engineers to create detailed specifications and project plans.
- Choose appropriate hardware and software components for PLC systems based on project requirements.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel on PLC systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system performance and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and commissioning, particularly with Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems and components.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
