• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Learn About a Day in the Life of a PCT:

Patient Care Technicians work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting, often having more patient contact than any other team member, including doctors and nurses.

Job Requirements:

• 1+ years’ patient care experience.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
