Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a K-12 public school located in New Jersey. This is a full academic year contract position designed for educators passionate about supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive classroom environments.

Location: New Jersey (K-12 School Setting)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs.
• Adapt general curriculum materials and modify teaching strategies to acmodate various disabilities.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student growth and engagement.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Create a supportive and structured learning environment that encourages independence and positive social interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional techniques.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting.
• Strong knowledge of individualized instruction strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to implement effective acmodations and modifications in accordance with IDEA and state regulations.
