We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, verifying, and maintaining policy-related data within proprietary systems, ensuring compliance with established quality standards and procedures. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity with room for growth and development in a collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Transfer and update client and policy data across multiple proprietary systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Verify and compile data prior to entry, ensuring completeness and applying appropriate coverages as required.
- Identify and address referral issues, collaborating effectively with agents, underwriters, and internal team members.
- Meet established performance goals:
- Quality: 80% accuracy within 90 days; 95% within 150 days.
- Production: 60 completed entries within 90 days; 90 within 150 days.
- Review, correct, and resolve data errors within 24 hours as directed by team leads or trainers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all established procedures and workflows.
- Manage time effectively to balance independent work with team collaboration.
- Handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company standards.
- Represent the company professionally in all communications and interactions.
• Familiarity with Windows 10 operating system and basic Excel spreadsheet functionality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to follow procedures and locate necessary information to complete tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Previous experience in data entry or related fields preferred.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
• Solid organizational and project management skills to meet production and quality targets.
