Job Title: Extrusion Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety‑focused Extrusion Operator to set up, operate, and monitor extrusion equipment used in the manufacturing process. The Extrusion Operator is responsible for producing high‑quality products that meet customer specifications while maintaining production efficiency, equipment performance, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines according to production schedules and specifications
• Load raw materials into extrusion equipment and adjust machine settings such as temperature, speed, and pressure
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards, dimensions, and tolerances are met
• Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic operating issues to maintain consistent output
• Monitor material flow and identify defects, jams, or process deviations
• Record production data, scrap, and downtime accurately
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on extrusion equipment
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards at all times
• Work closely with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience as an Extrusion Operator, Machine Operator, or similar manufacturing role preferred
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, or production specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

This is a Permanent position based out of East Hanover, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in East Hanover,NJ.
