Description
We are seeking a driven and experienced Marketing Manager to lead quoting and submission processes for new and renewal commercial insurance business. This role requires a blend of industry knowledge, marketing acumen, and carrier portal proficiency to ensure our clients receive timely, competitive insurance solutions. You’ll work closely with producers and account managers to support client needs while deepening carrier relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Quote new and renewal business (small, mid-size, and large accounts) using carrier rating portals
- Submit to standard carriers and wholesalers for difficult-to-place risks
- Attend monthly carrier meetings and maintain strong relationships
- Track all submissions and communications with carriers
- Coordinate with producers/account managers to gather and provide underwriting data
- Maintain and manage carrier portal logins and system access
- Monitor carrier appetites and explore new market opportunities as needed
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing role within the insurance industry
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Strong understanding of insurance carrier portals and quoting systems
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new rating systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Prior experience submitting to wholesalers
- Familiarity with carrier appetites and coverage comparisons
- Knowledge of small, mid-size, and large commercial account placements
