Senior Performance Engineer
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implement of software solutions in highly scalable environments with focus on financial technologies particularly electronic trading.
- 6+ years of experience at minimum as a senior performance engineer
- Strong Performance Testing experience (load, stress, endurance, spike, soak, volume, capacity)
- Have conducted this testing on services with low latency, high throughput, high volume requirements (trading services would be ideal)
- Strong understanding of JVM (services are Java Spring Boot)
- Accustomed to distributed cloud environments, containerized apps and container orchestration and collaborating with DevOps, CloudOps, BE engineers to optimize performance and reliability of systems
- Experience with profiling and instrumentation tools - Dynatrace/Datadog/AppDynamics
