Our successful candidate will have a clean driving record, experience interfacing with customers with a high level of professionalism and utmost care, ability to read schematics, have an automotive and electrical background and be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.

Job Details:

Generator Technician

The Generator Technician will provide installation, repair and maintenance service to our valued customers throughout Northern and Central NJ and will be responsible for the key tasks listed below:

1. Perform preventative maintenance

2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues

3. Maintain company vehicle supply inventory on-hand

4. Effectively communicate issues and operational status of generator units

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED
• 2 years’ generator repair experience preferred
• Generac certification strongly preferred
• 2 year’s automotive experience
• Available to work overtime and be on call during storm periods
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs unassisted
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship (no sponsorship available now or in the future)

Hours: Mon – Fri, 8 am – 4:30 pm, with OT, including voluntary weekends
