A home infusion pharmacy in Wayne, NJ is urgently seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge for a 12-week contract opportunity. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with no on-call responsibilities, making it an ideal role for those seeking stability during the contract duration.

Location: Wayne, NJ
Schedule:

• Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No on-call required

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance related to sterile and hazardous drug compounding procedures.
• Manage the pharmacy team, including 7 technicians and 4 pharmacists, supporting staff development, training, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, Board of Pharmacy regulations, and DEA requirements.
• Maintain overall responsibility for pharmacy operations, including regulatory compliance.
• Review and approve patient care plans, ensuring appropriate therapy, dosing, and medication compatibility.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unrestricted pharmacist licenses in both New Jersey and California (CA license mandatory).
• Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or in a management role.
• Familiarity with verification of sterile medications; IV compounding experience is preferred but not required.
• Sterile compounding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Local candidates only due to the onsite nature of this role.
