Alignment Technician

We are a very large family owned and operated tire dealer in Newark Delaware Job Summary: Delaware Tire Centers is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Alignment and Suspension Technician to join the team in Newark, Delaware. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing services related to alignments and suspensions, in addition to other duties as needed. This is a full-time position with a base plus commission pay structure. Compensation & Benefits: The successful candidate will be compensated with hourly pay plus commission. The position will also include benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan. Requirements: High School or GED. ASE Certification in alignment and suspension preferred. At least 3 years of experience in alignment and suspension work. Experience in the automotive industry highly preferred. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Suspension diagnosis
• Ride & handling diagnosis
• Tire and wheel replacement
• Suspension & steering parts replacement
• Shock & strut replacements

• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and parts replacement.
• Ability to perform wheel alignments
• Ability to complete suspension & steering adjustments
• Ability to perform basic tire replacement
• Ability to identify bent or damaged suspension or steering components
• Basic automotive knowledge
• Diagnostic ability and common sense
