Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are a commercial furniture installation company and this is our warehouse office location. Great customer services skills a must. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor. This job is a full time Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm job. There are occasions when you would be required to stay later than 5:00 pm.
- Answer incoming phone call
- Schedule incoming deliveries
- Create receiving reports and organize job files
- Email our clients their receiving reports
- Schedule jobs with our trucks and line the installers up for the jobs
- Keep accurate time sheets for the field labor for payroll
- Generate work orders for the jobs
- Keep organized files so the jobs can be invoiced when complete
- High school diploma/GED required, Associates degree or administrative training is preferred
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar position
- Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
