Operations Accountability Receptionist

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, this full-time position is responsible for Resident Accountability via incoming resident contact calls utilizing the T-Mobile Tracking cell phone system. They will handle additional receptionist duties, typing and/or word-processing, and other essential clerical support duties for the Bridgeton facilities.
Required knowledge, Abilities and Experience:
Knowledge of:
· Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to handle high volume calls
· Maintain accurate of call activities
· Basic Computer Skills
· Modern office principles and protocol; Modern office equipment including computer; Word Processing software Modern Office principles and protocol.
Ability to:
· Maintaining resident accountability outside the facility by accurately recording incoming phone calls and alerting management when contract compliance is not met.
· Answering to incoming telephone calls unrelated to accountability calls and transferring to the appropriate party.
· Complete Random Accountability Calls Daily.
· Delivering information about resident accountability to the Manager of Duty.
· Monitoring Resident movement using our T-Mobile on the Run GPS cell phone tracking system
· Delivering information about resident accountability to the Manager of Duty.
· Recording clear, complete, accurate and concise telephone messages Providing technological support for the department staff in all programs.
· Maintaining Resident Cell Phone Inventory.
· Participating in mandatory training and staff development sessions; and
· Operating all standard office machine & computer software, including Windows XP, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel
· Performing other work-related duties as directed by the Director, Operations
· Calling facilities inquiring about resident property in all programs.
· Meet the Department of Corrections clearance requirements; and execute all duties in accordance with this position description
Academic and Work Experience:
This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), one year of satisfactory performance in a clerical position with similar duties in a structured office environment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
