As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $22.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:30 PM - 10:00 PMSun01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and the reporting of unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
