Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform monthly bank credit card and vendor statement reconciliations.
• Manage full-cycle payroll processing and related tax compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger posting journal entries for all financial transactions.
• Assist with inventory accounting including valuation and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.
• Support cost accounting efforts by tracking manufacturing expenses and production costs.
• Prepare basic financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets for management review.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Experience with cost accounting principles inventory valuation and job costing in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and relevant tax compliance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g. inventory valuation COGS).
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions or multi-entity structures.
