Bookkeeper (Bilingual English and Chinese)

We're one of the largest B2B hotel reservation wholesalers with multiple offices in the US and overseas. We currently have a full time Bookkeeper position available.

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, expenses, invoices, and payments. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both electronic and physical.

Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.Verify and reconcile discrepancies or issues in financial records.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices from suppliers, vendors, and service providers. Ensure timely payments to suppliers and manage accounts receivable from clients.Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients as needed.

Expense Management: Track and categorize business expenses, including travel-related expenses, office supplies, and operational costs. Ensure expenses are properly documented and accounted for.

Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide financial information to management for decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be bilingual in English and Chinese.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
