Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager
Mechanical Construction | North Jersey
Join a growing and well-established mechanical contractor seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to support multiple commercial construction projects from award through closeout.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, transmittals, and project documentation
• Track material procurement, deliveries, and project schedules
• Support Project Managers and Engineers with day-to-day project operations
• Maintain project records, reports, and contract documents
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and field personnel
• Assist with project closeouts, labor tracking, and administrative reporting
Requirements:
• Experience in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction project coordination
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of construction documentation and project workflows
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
