Position Overview

We're a leader in precision machining and metal casting, and we are seeking an experienced Machine Shop Manager to oversee the operations of our machine shop, ensuring efficient production processes, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and operation, along with excellent leadership skills to manage a team of machinists and technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the machine shop to ensure production targets are met.
• Supervise and lead a team of machinists, providing guidance and support.
• Develop and implement efficient machining processes and workflows.
• Oversee CNC programming and operation to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Maintain equipment and machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Monitor shop performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Machine Shop Management or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
• Familiarity with CNC machines and their maintenance.
• Experience with GD&T and CAM Software is a plus.
• Understanding of casting processes and lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ISO standards related to manufacturing is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
