Finance Intern
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Intern to support supplier master data maintenance, supplier onboarding, due diligence, and data validation activities within a healthcare services environment. This internship is a strong opportunity for a current student or early-career professional who is interested in finance operations, procurement support, compliance, data quality, and SAP-based business processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, values accuracy, and can handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. You will work closely with internal teams across Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and related business functions to help ensure supplier data is complete, accurate, properly validated, and aligned with internal control procedures. The position offers exposure to important finance operations processes, supplier risk controls, and master data governance in a professional, collaborative environment. Candidates can work remotely or choose a hybrid arrangement if they prefer to be in the office a few days per week. The candidate must be able to work Eastern Time hours. Key Responsibilities - Support review and approval of sensitive supplier master data fields in SAP in accordance with internal controls and established procedures.- Validate supplier information through follow-up phone calls and emails with suppliers to confirm submitted details when required.
- Perform supplier bank account validation checks using internal tools, including beneficiary name and account match reviews against SWIFT network and other validation sources.
- Assist with supplier onboarding activities, including data verification, documentation review, completeness checks, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Support supplier master data cleansing initiatives to improve data quality, consistency, accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Escalate discrepancies, inconsistencies, missing information, or potential risks identified during validation, onboarding, and due diligence activities. Compensation and Benefits - Pay rate: $22 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support supplier master data maintenance, validation, and approval activities in SAP.- Assist with supplier onboarding, documentation review, and due diligence processes.
- Perform supplier verification through phone, email, and internal validation tools.
- Maintain accurate records to support compliance, auditability, and process transparency. - Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, or engaged as a contractor with relevant administrative or operational experience.
- Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Structured and methodical working style with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process adherence.
- Strong communication skills, including confidence speaking with suppliers professionally by phone and email.
- Ability to follow established procedures and exercise sound judgment when reviewing sensitive data.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Finance, Procurement, Compliance, and other internal teams. Preferred Qualifications - Experience or coursework related to finance, accounting, procurement, business administration, supply chain, compliance, or data management.
- Exposure to SAP or another ERP system.
- Familiarity with supplier onboarding, vendor maintenance, master data, or administrative support processes.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies and escalate concerns appropriately.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, organization, and service orientation.
