Job Duties

The AHS Craftsman effectively uses hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment. He/She is a professional with excellent customer service skills and desires to supervise other employee(s). He/She has demonstrated ability as a competent craftsman.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform all types of quality handyman repairs
• Carpentry
• Drywall repair
• Painting
• Tile work
• Basic plumbing and electrical
• Project Estimating
• Take pride in doing it right the first time

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Craftsman experience
• Valid drivers license, auto insurance, own a truck/van
• Have a solid, organized set of tools
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Clean-Cut appearance
• Must be a quick thinker, able to examine issues and resolve them in a prompt and professional manner.
• Excellent customer service skills - able to communicate effectively with Management, Office Personnel, Fellow Employees, Homeowners, Suppliers, Property Managers and Commercial Customers.
• Collaborative, optimistic, reliable

• Take the time to earn the customers confidence and then inquire about additional work that could be performed.
• Sometimes, take the time to fix something small and then point it out to the customer to help them understand that youu are capable of doing more.
